The Marketing Director, Global Events is responsible for driving strategy and execution of industry- and customer-facing Events for ADI/Snap One. This leader works with key stakeholders across the business (e.g., Sales, Category Management, Product Management, Strategy) to define priorities and develop cohesive strategic plans. The Marketing Director also collaborates across internal functions to design and execute impactful experiences that further corporate objectives and reinforce ADI/Snap One’s value proposition. Events range in size and scale, and span the residential, commercial, security, and builder markets around the world.
 
Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy and manage implementation of Events initiatives, which span large industry tradeshows, regional Expos and in-store activities across the globe
  • Partner across functions and levels, aligning Events strategy and business objectives/priorities
  • Oversee seamless execution of all Events, ensuring they are delivered on strategy, on time and on budget
  • Lead selection, management and contract agreements for 3rd party vendors
  • Drive continuous improvement of Events program, further enhancing experiences and optimizing resources and processes
  • Lead and develop high-performing team of event professionals
 
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Marketing, Communications, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Events/Tradeshows, including budget ownership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, across both internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated success leading selection of, management of, and contract agreements for 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to span strategy development and executive alignment through oversight of project management and tactical execution
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within distribution, omnichannel retail and/or product manufacturer environments
  • Understanding of the smart living industry
  • Knowledge of B2B and/or B2B2C sectors

The typical base salary for this role, ranges from USD $178,120.00 to $309,880.00 per year but varies by specific work location. For example, the base salary for this role in Melville, NY is $204,838.00 to $356,362.00 per year. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.  

This role is eligible to participate in the Resideo Bonus Plan (RBP) subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan. You can earn an annual bonus of 15% of your annual salary. This percent will be prorated based on your hire date. Business performance against pre-established financial goals for the fiscal year will determine 100% of the bonus payment amount. If your first day of eligibility under the Plan is after November 1st, you are not eligible for an RBP payout in March of the following year.
